The lovely round ended table top with large drop leaves and beautiful melamine finish. Raised on squared legs with stretchers. Together with four original matching dining chairs with white plastic pattern covering and raised on brown legs with stretchers. Made to wonderful proportions, this set would stand proud in any room. RARE English Regency 1805-1810 Rosewood Chairs MORGAN & SANDERS BEAUTIFUL

Made for the Southern Market most likely as campaign OR PORTABLE pieces these two chairs provenance points to Charleston South Carolina, eventually decending in the family to the Washington DC region. Reproduction squab seat cushions and historically accurate old cane seat replacements (about 12 years ago). See pictures for details. Notice the highly desirable rope twist “Trafalgar” crest rails and the signature readed edge design used throughout. Morgan and Sanders only made their “Metamorphic and Campaign” furniture for a short period of time. See others examples of their rare pieces in an on-line search. Most Campaign chairs of this type were made for the tropical “New World English Market” and did not survive. Very Rare pair of chairs. Nice rare original surface and finish.
