Publisher & Print Info: This piece has a wonderful Arts & Crafts look & feel to it and would make a wonderful addition to any Arts & Crafts art collection, especially in a nice period Arts & Crafts frame. The Print was published by the U. Printing & Lithograph Co. Whose embossed logo appears lower right in the image area just to the right of the artist’s printed signature which appears in the lower right corner of image area along with the original date of’1887′. The title and inventory number’602′, appear printed lower left in the outer margin area. The heavy stiff wove paper stock features a faux plate mark in the outer margin, made to look like a photogravure/color etching. Size & Condition: The size with large margins is 23.5″ x 34-11/16″, Image size is 17.5 x 28-11/16. The Print is in Excellent Rare+ condition with No Color Fade-Beautiful Rich Color! Extremely light topical soiling from age (very lightly grubby) in the outer margin areas from being in a drawer this whole time amongst other prints & etchings, but does not affect the image area. Extremely light creasing (only a few) in the image area which isn’t even noticeable. Slight creasing in the margin areas and margin corners which is basically negligible since they can be trimmed off, matted or framed out. Slight outer margin edge wear with some denting, also negligible. Only one very tiny 1/8 outer margin edge tear lower left which is also negligible and not even worth mentioning. There are two tiny tack holes in the upper left and upper right outer margin areas (near edges) which are also negligible. This vintage Print has never been framed which is always more desirable to collectors since it has never been exposed to older non-archival materials, matburn or lightfade. Due to the heavy stiff stock, this piece will have to be lightly rolled in an oversized heavy duty tube. PAYING FOR YOUR ITEM. Union, NO International M. This is a wonderful piece of Georgian Irish silver made in Dublin c1740. It is in very good undamaged condition, it has Hibernia and Harp marks only from c1740, no sign of a makers mark, it has a very nice fluted edge, it is 19cms long and has a lovely period Armorial Lamb and Flag crest and a latin motto, underneath it has owners initials GRA. I believe they are the arms of the Stilington family of County Antrim. A fine rare piece of 18th century Irish silver.
