Rare Vintage Art Deco Rhodium Compact Locket Long Sterling Silver Chain Necklace

I have more great jewelry for sale, so check out my other items if you’re interested. This is a gorgeous true Art Deco era compact that features an engraved lady with a bonnet & parasol. The engraving is not sharp, this was likely a favorite & so has been dulled down after about 100 years of wear! The chain is about 25 long in total, & the filigree finding that attaches it to the compact is marked STERLING. I think the compact is rhodium, as it’s unmarked. It’s about 1 -3/4″ long NOT counting the top loop, & about 1 -7/16″ across. The interior has it’s original puff & a mirrored finish inner back. It snaps shut gently. Other than the wear, it’s in good vintage condition with no damage I can detect. Just a rare & lovely piece! Beautiful victorian style 9ct gold pearl locket filled with amethyst and aquamarines – offered in good vintage condition – there is a tiny trace of glue in the inside of the locket compartment between the edge of the glass and the metal rim however this cannot be seen from the front. Tiny nibbles to the edges of the glass but this does not detract from the locket x. The locket is not sealed and so the gemstones are interchangeable!! Measures 40mm by 24mm inc. This would make a beautiful bridal gift or a cheeky treat for yourself – I will consider reasonable offers! Beautiful Victorian Quality Rare Pietra Dura Floral Picture Locket Pendant. Here is a really lovely beautiful quality rare, pietra dura floral picture locket pendant. The pendant measures one & a half inches by two inches excluding the bail & is all set in a early hardstone or similiar. The pendant is inset with a really beautiful real floral pietra dura in a lovely quality floral design. This pendant is quite unusual as on the back is a oval silver locket compartment measuring one inch in diameter & allready to put in a keepsake or pictures/photos etc & does come with a lovely pic of a little boy. The pendant has a lovely large solid silver bail working well and it dates clearly to the victorian period and just has wear as you associate with age & a couple of tiny pieces missing, but certainly nothing that detracts, just mentioned for total accuracy, but these lovely pendants are getting harder to find. However this really is a lovely victorian pietra dura in very good origional complete condition and a lovely quality example of these & a nice collectable example that looks so lovely worn. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history.
