Rare Small Antique Sonnenberg French Doll in Beautiful Silk Costume

A sweet little Sonnenberg (or Sonneberg) doll measures only about 9 ¾ high. She’s got a perfect full round Belton type bisque head with a flange neck on her original 5-piece body. The little German girl was made to imitate the French bebe of the day and she really does have French bebe look! Her adorable expression with wide, early spiral blue glass eyes and a closed mouth; her multi-stroke eyebrows match nicely to her vintage human hair ringlet wig. She is dressed in a beautiful light pink silk dress in the antique style with lots of lace. Under it she wears a cute onsie that has full bloomers. A big ivory and pink silk hat trimmed in lace are a great match to her outfit, then she has tiny white socks with tiny black shoes. She, including her clothing, have been cleaned so she is without any odors. Her head head with a flange neck is in good condition without any cracks, hairlines, breaks or repairs. Her head is still on the original French wooden and composition body which has a crack in the composition on one foot and the other foot was glued back on many years ago. Of course these few small flaws are unseen with her fabulous French silk costume on. Her stringing is fine so her head can move from side to side, and her arms can stay up and her legs can be moved back and forth. I have her head stuffed with cotton so her big fancy silk hat can be easily pinned on through the hole opening without gluing anything down. She was made in Germany for the French market and as such is considered to be a little Frenchie. A little harder to find in this small size. RARE ANTIQUE BEAUTIFUL SMALL 1800s SPANIEL DOG BANK YELLOW WARE ROCKINGHAM

This Spaniel bank is a popular form and is highly collectable among yellow ware and bank collectors. Saint Charles Spaniel dog banks were popular throughout England and America during the 1800s and were made in a variety of sizes and glazes. This bank is beautiful, molded using yellow ware clay and lightly glazed with the color of the yellow ware clay showing through. These banks were typically covered with dark Rockingham glaze, but not on this bank. The bank was molded in two pieces and joined before firing. There is a small hole in the back of the dog’s head to help vent the heat during firing. Measuring only 3 ¾. The smallest size of the spaniel dog banks. The side of the bank has an old, darkened chip at the base with no other damage. Dog banks are very desirabl. E and are highly collectable. Beautiful & Rare WMF Silver Plated, Antique Silver on Britannia Metal, Cut Crystal Glass, Small Claret Decanter /Jug / Noggin. Fully Signed : WMFB : 1/0 : AS. Circa : 1886 (Very Early Piece). Here we have a beautiful and very rare WMF Small Decanter / Jug or Noggin (Spirits) with WMF cut Crystal glass Diamond quilt pattern, a beautiful piece of exceptional quality and very stylish, completely original and not polished. The base metal is Britannia Metal. Silver plated and its finished is antique silver, which is should look like unpolished silver, dark and with silver tones, its very rare to find an un polished example such as this, as the majority gets polished until the antique silver finish has gone, this example has the original finish of antique silver. Its a beautiful small size that would hold approximately 2 good glasses of wine, or even maybe 5 shots of Whisky for the spirit lovers, it would make the perfect noggin. Its a very stylish / Beautiful small decanter, it does have initials in the cartouche in old fashion script, I have no idea what they are, however they look nice and blends in very well with the character of this small decanter / Jug. The cut crystal glass has no damage whatsoever, I have looked around very carefully and its free from any damage, chips, nibbles, nicks, cracks and No scratches, not even the contact surface of the base, its also free from any clouding of the crystal glass. Its obviously been a Cabinet display piece that was rarely used and thankfully not polished to destroy the antique silver finish. Considering this small decanter / Jug is approximately 150 years of age, its in amazing condition, very stylish and has a wonderful character of quality. Would make a wonderful gift for that someone special who enjoys a little luxury tipple at the end of the day. Excellent condition, No dents, dints, knocks, scratches, totally in Original Condition. Crystal Glass is perfect free from any damage. The Jugs lid and hinge is strong with NO play, opens and closes perfectly/. Jug Ewer stands straight and true. Height with Finial : 27.5 cm. Here we have a beautiful and very rare WMF Small Jug- Ewer, with WMF exquisitely engraved Crystal glass, a beautiful piece of exceptional quality and very stylish. The Jug collar is also bright cut engraved, with a very elaborate handle and strong hinged lid. The perfect size for two glasses of wine, a highly sought after & collectable piece and totally useable. The engraved crystal glass has no damage whatsoever, I have looked around very carefully and its free from any damage, chips, nibbles, nicks, cracks and No scratches, just a few on the contact surface of the base, its also free from any clouding of the crystal glass. Considering this Jug / Ewer is approximately 130 years of age, its in Very good antique condition. There is some silver loss with a glint of brass showing through the silver in some places, No dents, dints or scratches and no breakages whatsoever. There is a Small round Push Button that opens and closes the Lid securely and the Hinge is in good condition, when opened it reveals a Beautiful Blue Velvet Interior.
