This is a really lovely English porcelain Adams Titian ware coffee set dated to the Art Deco Period c 1922. The set comprises. 6 demitasse cups 5cm diameter, 6cm high. 6 demitasse saucers 11.5cm diameter. Sugar bowl 9cm diameter, 6cm high. Milk jug 8cm diameter, 8cm high. Coffee pot 9.5cm diameter, 18cm high. The pattern and colourway is rare for Adams Ivory and looks so unbelievably contemporary. It is easy to forget that it was made around 100 years ago! The condition is wonderful with hardly any loss to the gilding and no cracks or chips apart from a small chip under the spout of the pot and a very tight hairline at the side of the spout. It displays beautifully and is of course usable in modern times. I also have a dinner set of this pattern and era including dinner plates, salad plates, tureens and gravy boat which I will be listing shortly.
