A Rare & Beautiful 140 year old Antique Victorian Mahogany wardrobe. Made in England during the reign of Queen Victoria In around 1880 to a beautiful standard. With a beautiful flared top over two large fielded panel doors opening to reveal a fully appointed interior. The doors flanked by carved corbels, the base fitted with a spacious drawers with lovely turned mahogany handles. Made to wonderful proportions, it would grace any room. The mahogany has a wonderful colour and Patina created over the last 140 years. A beautiful piece of English history thats overflowing with historic charm. As expected with the great age of this piece the usual wear and tear with minor losses to veneer. Chips to the handles of the base drawers. When closed the door sits a little bowed but all lovely. An impressive and imposing piece of furniture. Height 202 cm – Width 131 cm – depth 59 cm (measurements taken at the top cornice for the widest dimensions).
