It measures approx 15 1/4″ wide by 5 1/2″ tall, so a good large size & ideal to use as a fruit bowl. Totally hand made & hand beaten from one piece of quite thick gauge brass, the base has No. 100 cut in to the base. This may suggest it was originally a measure of some type, possibly a milk bowl perhaps. A fine Georgian antique that would grace any home & also a very useful piece.
