A Rare & Beautiful 240 Year Old Georgian Antique Oak Fall Front Bureau. Made in England during the reign of King George III in around 1780 to a lovely standard. The lovely moulded edge top over a fall front cover with brass escutcheon and moulded stand that lifts to reveal a fitted interior of miniature drawers, pigeon holes and a writing surface. The base fitted with two short drawers and two long drawers with brass swing handles and escutcheons. All raised upon a moulded edge plinth base.
