Beautiful Antique 9ct Gold & Rare 5ct Alexandrite Cocktail Ring. Here is the most beautiful antique 9ct gold & rare alexandrite cocktail ring. The ring has a good quality 9ct yellow gold band around, to lovely engraved split band shoulders and then on to a engraved deep basket style galleried solitaire setting with lovely heart style engravings. In the setting is the most stunning rare alexandrite, which is oval & measures over 5 ct or nearly 1/2 an inch in diameter. Looking at the ring know its purple/blue, & then pink but i just couldnt pick this up in the photos, but this ring will delight. The ring is clearly marked with the early 9ct gold mark & makers mark and ring size L & a half and it is an origional cocktail ring dating to around the 1940s and as with age does have a couple of nibbles to the edges, but this doesnt detract in any way, see pics. This really is the most beautiful antique 9ct gold & alexandrite ring in very good origional complete condition that looks beautiful worn and such a beautiful eyecatching example.
