A Rare & Beautiful Early 20th Century Fall Front Bureau made from the very rare and much prized Ocotea Bullata (Stinkwood). This highly sort after and much prized wood by cabinet makers produces a extremely fine and smooth grain. This timber is no longer available commercially and is now a protected tree in South Africa. The evergreen tree which grows up-to 30 meters tall is indigenous to the high forests of South Africa. The beautiful panelled fall front cover lifts to reveal a fitted interior of miniature drawers, pigeon holes and a writing surface. The base fitted with two shaped drawers with brass plate handles and escutcheons. All raised upon cabriole legs with ball and claw feet. Made to wonderful proportions it will stand proud in any room. We don’t believe in the usual huge mark ups. We hand-pick every piece of antique furniture and pride ourselves on our low prices. Quality you can trust for far less! For sale I have this delightful original early Victorian possibly Georgian 9ct gold almandine garnet ring size N 1/2. The piece is set with 4 garnets which are red with purple hews as the light changes. Each garnet measuring approximately 5mm across and each having a carat weight of 40 points. The gold is marked 9ct which is not unusual for a Victorian ring under 4g. This lovely antique ring is in overall very good condition with signs of age and use. As shown in the photos there is an old sizing mark which over time has worn down, the mark is stable with no movement. This not detract from the Beauty when wearing the piece. A stunning Rare white coloured multi faceted glass C1880 scent perfume bottle. The rarer push button flip top mechanism is in good working condition. The lid is in perfect amazing as this is over 140 years old. The hinged lid is in perfect condition. The lid fits perfectly. A stunning piece of history and the pinnacle of scent bottle collecting. This bottle still has original fitted glass stopper which seals liquid perfectly and means the item can still be used as intended all these years later. Width approx 3.3 cm. Weighs 92.4 g. Considering the age of this item it is in good condition. There are a couple of light dents on the lid section but these are hardly noticeable as they look like reflection marks and reflective of an item which has been used and cherished for 140 years. See picture 9 and 10 to see the lid dents. Someone will get a bargain. This piece is in all original pre-owned pre-loved condition as to be expected there is age related wear and marks, I have left it un cleaned and it would polish up to a gleaming shine. Full description is as follows but please take a look at the pictures as they tell a thousand words and are all High Definition High pixel pictures to give you a real look into the piece.. You might see some light reflected off of the surface that will appear to be white or blue spots. This is only camera glare, please don’t confuse it with loss or damage. Made By : Stevenson and Hancock (early Royal Crown Derby). It is a beautiful miniature tea set comprising of. That measures 3½” inches high x 5″ inches from handle to spout. That measures 2¼ inches high. That measures 1¾” inches high with a top diameter of 3″ inches. This really is a wonderful antique set. It is in very good condition, I would say it has been kept in a cabinet for most of it’s existence. The only very minor flaws I can see are small piece blue missing on one of the flowers on the teapot. And a very very small chip on the run of the cream jug, but when on display these flaws cannot be seen and that is it. It is fully backstamped on the bases of all three pieces. A stunning Rare white coloured glass miniature C1860 scent perfume bottle. The finger suspension loop holder is in good condition. The lid is in perfect amazing as this is over 160 years old. The hinged lid is in perfect condition. The lid fits perfectly. A stunning piece of history and the pinnacle of scent bottle collecting. This bottle still has original fitted stopper which seals liquid perfectly and means the item can still be used as intended all these years later. Width approx 4 cm. Chain 7 cm long. Conversion 2.5 cm = 1. Considering the age of this item it is in good condition. This piece is in all original pre-owned pre-loved condition as to be expected there is age related wear and marks, I have left it un cleaned and it would polish up to a gleaming shine.
