Exquisite beautiful and ultra rare Medieval bronze ring with stunning red glass setting which looks like a second setting in Antiquity (could be a bead)? Used after first was lost, really not sure, does have hole through but in my opinion makes it extra special. The ring has been sympathetically professionally cleaned to a high standard and could very well be worn again, last two photos showing before cleaning, sadly has a break in band done in Antiquity probably why it was lost, easy fix by jeweller. Found in Ripley North Yorkshire, England near site of an old manor house in the 1970s. Glass has been secured when cleaning but further measures may want to be taken if worn again, again jeweller, not expensive.
