The ring has a quality 18ct yellow gold band with a lovely patina to the gold around to platinum shoulders. With this beautful ring that is just truly stunning the whole setting measures 12mm in diameter & there is a border fully encrusted with real diamonds which are old mined white diamonds that are faceted and in a rubbed over type setting and they are all approx 2 points & there is 16 diamonds so there is approx 0.30-32cts, they have very good colour, well matched with crisp clear clarity & they have a truly dazzling sparkle & they accentuate the zircon perfectly. In a lovely strong platinum secure claw setting is a fabulous rare blue zircon. This blue zircon is just so beautiful and such quality its appox 2- 3ct in size or 7-8mm and zircons are rare gemstones with the blue zircons being very rare especially early quality examples like this and very sought after. The zircon is faceted & securely claw set and has the most beautiful intense blue colour & is so eyecatching & dazzles in the light, it really is a very appealing gemstone. The ring is clearly marked for the early 18ct gold mark & platinum & dates between the edwardian-art deco era & as with age & wear has wear to the facetes as you expect, but certainly nothing that detracts from this ring and is ring size H, so a tiny ring size but this ring certainly lends itself to be resized up & can be resized by any high street jeweller. This really is a beautiful art deco ring in very good origional complete condition that looks so stunning worn, will most certainly not disapoint and a very eyecatching rare piece of fine quality antique jewellery.
