Beautiful Rare 18th C. French Linen and Wool Embroidery. This beautiful rare 18th century French and wool embroidery has a natural colored linen background. With charming repeated flowers in blue, red, and gold enclosed diamond-like shapes in a soft olive green. There are small lovely flowers surrounding the diamond -like shapes. Wonderful for collectors of 18th C. 22″ W x 35 ” L. There are areas that are somewhat threadbares. However, to use they only add to the charm of this early fabric. See photos for detail.
