A Beautiful Rare Beautiful Georgian 18ct Gold Ladies Circular pendant which was crafted circa 1800 making it over 210 years old, this stunningly rare Gold pendant has the most wonderful engine turned decoration in gold to one side with a central smooth circular cartouche which contrasts beautifully against the engine turned decoration on turning this Georgian Ladies Pendant over you will see it has a gold framed glass over that is hinged and it has a gold little clip to open the cover, this has a timeless elegance of long ago, it shouts out Georgian, this would have either held a lock of her loved ones hair or a miniature picture of him, this is then framed with the most beautifully cast 18ct gold floral and scroll decoration which is repeated on both sides and is raised, it has a matched raised gold floral loop attached to the top finial, this is almost like a miniature pocket watch, its so very pretty, the quality of the craftsmanship is superb, this would have once belonged to a very wealthy lady living in the Georgian Period and been worn daily, its in wonderful condition , it has no hallmarks but does test for 18 ct Gold, i cant tell you enough how exquisite this pendant is , it is so very tactile and has the most wonderful feel. Very nice pretty American sterling silver silk winder made by Foster and Bailey. There is a motif of roses and flowers on each side. Marked F & B Sterling on both sides. In very marvelous condition. The makers mark is worn and very hard to read. My best guess is Foster and Bailey. The three figure makers mark is right across from sterling on one of the horns.
