Beautiful Rare Silverplated Brass WMF Art Nouveau Footed Bowl / Planter 1910’s

A very nice, very well made vintage silverplated brass ornate design Art Nouveau bowl / planter in very nice condition, with no dents or dings, but show signs of surface ware to be expected commensurate with age and use. Marked by the Ostrich and two inscriptions “WMF” and “G” (Geislingen an der Steige) in a rhombus, placed in hatched arch, this mark was used from 1909 until around 1914 for the items exported to France. WMF is the abbreviation for Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, which means Württemberg Metal Factory and was created in 1880 in the small town of Geislingen on the river in Germany. Would make an ideal planter for some flower bulbs or dry flower display. Measures: 10cm tall (to the top of handle) x 22cm in diameter. It has both frames as photographed & everything in photos comes with it. There are two frames, one celluloid clear plastic piece to cover the baby photo which is included & the embossed metal piece which was on the other side of the frame. It’s such an interesting & unusual locket! No major age wear to the gold filled metal. No major dents or dings. With all Antique pieces you should expect some signs of vintage age wear if looking hard enough. But nothing sticks out to me to report. I think it’s in Top condition for it’s age. Please look over my many photos so you can decide if it’s up to your standards. This is a Fantastic Rare Gorgeous Locket you won’t see come up often.
