A Rare & Beautiful Mid Century Mahogany Double Wardrobe By AY Crown. C1950

A Rare & Beautiful 70 Year Old Mid Century Double Mahogany Wardrobe. Made in England during the middle of the 20th Century in around 1950 to a lovely standard by furniture maker AY Crown. With a moulded cornice with two arching panelled wardrobe doors with brass pull handles enclosing a fitted interior with shelf and hanging rail. All raised upon a moulded base with platform feet. Made to wonderful proportions, it would grace any room. We don’t believe in the usual huge mark ups. We hand-pick every piece of antique furniture and pride ourselves on our low prices. Quality you can trust for far less! The mahogany has a lovely colour and patina created over the half century. A lovely piece of English history that’s overflowing with historic charm. As expected with age some wear and tear from use including marks and scuffs and minor losses to trip. One of the back feet also suffer a historic split. Rare Antique Majolica Cobalt Server with Chestnut Leaf & Bird Handle Beautiful

Pictured here is a lovely and rare antique majolica deep server with a large chestnut leaf covering the bottom. For a handle it has a sweet little bird with it’s wings outstretched. The bird is sitting on the chestnut tree branch which twines around the cobalt blue background. His wing has been repaired. We marked a small crack and some kiln shrinks in the last photos. The underside is mottled with a round base. We believe this is American made and dates to around 1880. There is no maker’s mark and there is a tiny rubbed spot on the point of the plate. Please enjoy the photos for the best look. This is a hard one to find especially in this condition, and will display well. Measurements are: 10 w. X 4 ½ tall to the top of the bird’s head. Beautiful Antique 9ct Gold & Rare 5ct Alexandrite Cocktail Ring. Here is the most beautiful antique 9ct gold & rare alexandrite cocktail ring. The ring has a good quality 9ct yellow gold band around, to lovely engraved split band shoulders and then on to a engraved deep basket style galleried solitaire setting with lovely heart style engravings. In the setting is the most stunning rare alexandrite, which is oval & measures over 5 ct or nearly 1/2 an inch in diameter. Looking at the ring know its purple/blue, & then pink but i just couldnt pick this up in the photos, but this ring will delight. The ring is clearly marked with the early 9ct gold mark & makers mark and ring size L & a half and it is an origional cocktail ring dating to around the 1940s and as with age does have a couple of nibbles to the edges, but this doesnt detract in any way, see pics. This really is the most beautiful antique 9ct gold & alexandrite ring in very good origional complete condition that looks beautiful worn and such a beautiful eyecatching example.
